Great double room available in central Oxford

Our home: a huge five bedroom house, just off the Abingdon Road; a mere 15 minute walk to town and right next to Hinksey Park and the Thames. The house has two great living rooms: one with a large dining space and reading nook, and the other an enormous Sky TV and the world’s most comfortable sofas. There’s a large, open-plan kitchen, two bathrooms and a small but perfectly formed garden with a bike rack and barbecue. We even have Oxford’s holy grail: off-road parking!

The room: It’s a medium-sized, characterful double bedroom on the ground floor. It’s semi-furnished with a decent wardrobe and chest of drawers, and the bed will be up for sale! You’ll be sharing the downstairs bathroom with one other tidy female.

The housemates: we’re four professionals in our 20s and 30s: an editor, a project manager, a linguist and an alumni relations officer (no… we’re not sure what that means either…). We like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. We also like films, books, trips to the pub and dinner parties honouring obscure central Asian public holidays.

The room is available from 22nd November and is £440pcm excluding bills (these are an additional £90 or so).
