Single Room in a real 'home from home'

Our house has a really homely feel - it's spacious, all newly decorated, there's an open wood fire, two living rooms (one is a living/dining room) and there a pretty cottage style garden.

There are three people who live here (including the room that’s available), and one small well behaved Border Collie dog. We get on well and I'd say the feel of the house is friendly, fairly quiet and certainly chilled out. We are all working professionals in our 20s and 30s.

We have a cleaner - which means the house is well looked after, but no one has the hassle of cleaning. There's a garage which is great for storing bikes (one per person), and the house is near the ring road, buses to London and buses to Oxford centre.

The room is a small single room. It is newly decorated, and it has an in-built cupboard and small chest of drawers.

The rent is £300 a month. The bills come to about £120 a month per person – depending on the season. This covers council tax, gas, electric, phone, broadband, water, cleaner.

We are ideally looking for a working person or postgraduate student, non smoker (essential) to move in asap, and to stay for about a year, or at least quite a few months.
