From 1st August, room available in owner occupied semi-detached house, set in the peaceful suburb of Lodge Moor to the South West of Sheffield with a good community of neighbours, near the countryside and close to good local shops and buses.

Well suited to a professional person of any age. Students welcome.

Sheffield University and city centre are 10-15 minutes drive by car with a good bus service. It is probably too far out for Hallam University students.

The available double room is at the rear of the house overlooking the garden and surrounding hillside.

Sole use of bathroom (not en-suite) with shower bath, WC and basin.

Use of good sized shared kitchen with plenty of work and storage space and large fridge freezer.

The house has all the usual household appliances, broadband etc. Warm and draught proof with large double glazed windows.

Garden with pond, patio, beds and occasionally vegetables. This is often overgrown so don't expect too much!

There is safe parking available on the road.

All bills are included.

I engage a weekly cleaning lady for the communal areas. You will be responsible for keeping your own room and the bathroom clean and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy after cooking there.

I am looking for a wholesome friendly person with a good heart - who will keep the shared areas tidy and keep their personal belongings in their room.

I am a calm, mature and responsible individual who has a lot of involvement in running groups to nourish the spirit and community. I am outgoing and friendly although I tend to be out quite a lot at the community farm which I help to run. When I get home I like some solitude. I treat my housemates as extended family but am not the interfering type or overly chatty.

I have a big friendly dog. She almost never barks but she will want your attention if she sees you. It is very important that you like dogs as she will be hard to ignore but will love you to bits.

We also have a delightful cat named Hannah. It is essential that you can get on with cats and that you are happy to feed her if you are here when I am on holiday or have a weekend away. To be honest she is usually out or in my bedroom. You may find dead mice (or bits of) left on the floor but I remove these as soon as I find them!
