This is a nice terrace house with laid back housemates, excellent location for driving to Chesterfield/Rotherham and for quick access to City Centre and Meadowhall with the best of the Yorkshire countryside only minutes away. There's no better recommended place for serious study and cracking on towards that Degree!
It's a quiet safe neighborhood with a mix of semi professionals, students and retired. There's several grocery and convenience shops, Morrisons, ASDA, Sainsbury, ALDI and Tesco all near by and a couple of excellent local pubs and Carvery within walking distance.
The house itself has three bedrooms, sunny fully equipped bathroom with electric shower so no waiting for timed hot water, comfy front room with plenty of seating filled with books, plants, art, various musical instruments and soon to have a wood burning stove. There's a bright efficient kitchen with massive 6 burner range, spacious fridge, lots of cupboard space, all pots, pans, dishware needed AND a washing machine. WIFI is included as are utilities and council tax. There is parking on street and in the cul de sac directly behind the house and very well lit, safe and there has been no issues for any of the neighbors.
The bedroom on offer is fully furnished single bedroom with three drawer underbed storage, deep built in closet space, dresser, computer desk, lamp and curtains and a sunny aspect over parkland. Bed linen and pillows are own responsibility.
There is a yard that has a sunny disposition in the afternoon, fully fenced and private with an attempt at gardening going.
After a hard day away it's a relief to come home, shut the door and chill. Oh yes there are cats to try and charm as they are very elusive and prefer to be outside in the sunroom.
We're looking for someone who is a mature, tidy and responsible, respectful of the property and each other, yet who is laid back, has a sense of humor, feels comfortable either joining in or being in their own company. There is definitely no expectations that one has to stay only in their bedroom! Friends are welcome to visit but parties or overnight guests are encouraged elsewhere as we all work various shift patterns. It's harmonious rather than authoritarian and more than once we've shared dinners and wine. It's stable, comfortable, and easy on the pocket book.. and the housemates are pretty decent too.
