Very Large Double Room Nr Station
Easy-going 25yr old male looking for a fellow professional to occupy a very large second bedroom in my house. Looking for a tidy, considerate person wanting a new home. The room is currently occupied by a professional mid-twenties female who is only moving due to relocation down south. The reason I've asked for a "female preferred" situation is as I'd never lived with a stranger until the current occupant, it has just worked really well & I'd like to stick with what I know.
I'm a down to earth, mature-ish guy & feel I'm very easy to get on with! I like to keep the house clean & tidy as I'm quite house proud. Happy to have someone extremely sociable who wants to socialise after work or on the weekends or also someone just looking for a quiet room on a quiet street :).
The room itself comes with a double bed, bedding, walk-in wardrobe, bedside table. The room is very bright & airy as it has two large windows, which is really good in the Summer.
The house overlooks the gorgeous Town Park & is located 90 seconds from Stafford train station & Main Bus Hub. Stoke, Telford, Lichfield, Crewe & Birmingham are all within 45 minutes max commute by Bus, Car or Train. The house is also a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarkets & Stafford town centre.
All bills are included in the rent (water, elec, gas, council tax, TV license & Virgin Media Broadband & full TV package including sports) as well as a cleaner who visits twice monthly to clean the communal areas. Just myself & my small cat (who isn't allowed upstairs - as much as she tries!) occupy the property currently so you would have to not be an animal hater or allergic to cats :). There is a good size patio & garden with a shed available for storing a bike. You will have access to a cooker, brand new washing machine, fridge/freezer, BBQ etc. There is a small downstairs toilet as well as a nice upstairs bathroom with separate shower & bath. The two reception rooms downstairs; one is a designated livingroom with Virgin Media, Blu-ray player and 42" flat screen, the second reception room is a bar/reading room - although not much reading tends to take place in there! As an added bonus, I've converted the basement into a bit of a "mini-gym" so there is a full size punching bag, exercise bike & weights bench which are available for use.
Parking is available on street & is permit only for designated spaces - permit costs 45 for the year & if one is required for your car I will take 45 off the first months rent so you can keep costs down - 'cause I'm nice like that! A small deposit & a months rent will be required upfront when taking the property :).
A little about me; I work Monday-Friday until around 6 & go to the gym most weeknights, I also play football every Thursday night & Sunday morning. I do sometimes just like to chill out in front of the TV if I've had a particularly stressful day! I love cooking (happy to do the odd meal for a housemate too), listening to music, watching films & socialising at the Weekend. I occasionally host BBQs with my friends or the very rare pre-drink before a night in town - one of the pitfalls of living close to the nightlife is my house is always the designated pre-drink hotspot before a night out!
