Our home

Ideally situated for both Ipswich and Colchester, our spacious 17th Century country house has been a highly desirable home-from-home for a number of years now.

We have only ever had exceptionally positive feedback from our house mates. Do take the time for a visit and to meet us. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Recently upgraded to modern standards and set within beautiful country surroundings. Naturally of course, it is well furnished and all bills are included. We enjoy a southern aspect at the rear making this a relaxing light and airy home.

The kitchen is spacious and light with an inglenook fireplace, leather sofa, top spec units and an island which is a pleasure to cook at and, if you fancy, entertain at. It is fitted with a large fridge, washing machine, two ovens and a hob.

In addition the house also includes a 36ft sitting room with TV - plenty of space to relax.

There is a shower room and additional toilet downstairs. Oil fired central heating and of course, wireless broadband.

The large shingle drive has enough room for a dozen cars, there is a double garage and two car ports.

The pleasant Suffolk Cycle Route runs right past our front drive. The sound of horses hooves is common. Deer, rabbits and pheasants are regular visitors to our lawns.

Ideally situated for both Ipswich and Colchester. Ipswich is just 15 minutes away and Colchester less than 30. Both Ipswich and Colchester have InterCity mainline stations to London and Cambridge. The City of London being only 45 minutes from Colchester.

The village is served by a bus route into Ipswich and Hadleigh has routes bus routes running through the county.

Both Ipswich and Colchester are packed with shops, restaurants, cosy bistros, theatres, pubs and clubs. And let's not forget the stunning market town of Hadleigh, just 5 minutes ride through winding country lanes or a two mile walk along the old railway line, featuring a host of classic Suffolk timber framed properties.
