You're looking at an opportunity to bag a room in a really lovely house in Croydon.

We're looking for one intelligent, witty, employed person to take on a furnished double bedroom in a great, slightly alternative house with...

Two bathrooms
Large lounge
Large separate kitchen
A separate dining room
A landscaped garden

A paralegal called Valerie in one room and myself (Sam, works in TV) in another.

The room is a bright and comfortable double with cupboards and a large window overlooking the garden.

It's on a quiet residential street moments from local shops, including fishmongers, butchers, veg shops, and a huge Lidl which is great for unbranded cereal and sometimes ski gear and power tools.

Around five minutes walk to Croydon's pedestrianised town centre.

Included in the price are council, gas, water and electric bills, as well as 100mb fiber optic broadband, and TV with Tivo.

Who are we looking for? Someone who wants a home, rather than a house. Someone who is sociable but professional. Hermits need not apply!

In return we're easy going, sociable, and I keep the place in good nick ;)

**** TRANSPORT ****

Parking is on the street by permit. There's usually space free.

It's five minutes walk from West Croydon station and tram (with trains to Victoria, Shepards bush, Clapham, London Bridge, Dalston, Brick Lane, Wimbledon and Islington).

It's 15 minutes walk or five minutes bus to East Croydon station, which has trains to London Bridge and Victoria in less than 15 minutes, as well as links to Brighton, Clapham and Kings Cross.

Trains from Victoria to Croydon are 24 hour (luxury!), and night buses stop at the bottom of the road from Oxford circus and Brixton.
