The house is almost brand new and in immaculate condition. There is a private garden and also a larger communal garden for the complex, with bike racks. The house sits in a quiet private gated complex close to East Croydon train station and is a 1 minute walk to the local tram stop. The house has private gated free off-street car parking space. It's a peaceful and safe spot close to the station.
The bedroom available is a large double with en-suite shower room that comes in either unfurnished or furnished spec. That's up to you (see further information on this bit below). The room is available from 22nd August.
A nice garden is at the back of the house with nicely kept decking and a bbq.
We have a 50 inch plasma in the living room and the full sky subscription package including the sports and movies.
All things in the kitchen are shared, so no need to bring anything with you. The kitchen has a grill/microwave, dishwasher, modern looking sink and laminate.
The house is situated equal distance between Lebanon Road and Sandilands tram stops (1 min walk). East Croydon train station is a 5 minute walk. From there you can be into Clapham Junction in 10 minutes, London Victoria in 15, or London Bridge in 20. The tram runs direct to Wimbledon, Mitcham Junction or New Addington. Of course you can park your car here for free as well if you drive.
Currently in the house are 2 mid 20's males, Irish and English, and we are looking for a someone of similar age who is fun, enjoys a laugh and will get involved in the summer bbqs and conversation in the coming months. Mainly looking for a friendly person who can fit straight into the house! Austin is Irish and works in a local hotel. Richard is English and works locally in the property sector. Both keen on sport and socialising.
The room is available because our Australian house mate has decided to move home to Australia.
He has furnished the bedroom available with all new furniture when he moved in at April this year. The bedroom has a brand new and high quality double bed, mattress, large cupboard, desk and larger drawer. This all cost 600 pounds in April this year.
As he is leaving the country he plans to sell all the furniture as a job lot on ebay, or, for a cheaper price to a Tenant at a price of 250 pounds. So you can either buy all this nice furniture cheap, or, have the room unfurnished and bring your own kit.
The rent will be 525 plus bills. Deposit is 450. Bills are paid on top and are paid monthly. Council Tax is 57. 33 a month. Other bills vary slightly but are a normal amount for three people.
The house is brand new and has modern furnishings and is a really nice place to live!
