Huge Loft Room In Gay House East Croydon Station

HOUSE - Renovated Edwardian house on quiet tree lined street, recent loft conversion and renovation. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lounge diner. Sun trap garden (if we ever get a summer).

LOCATION - Chisholm Road is a quiet street approx 300m to the East of East Croydon Station. It is a 5 minute walk (literally) from my front door to the station, and from the station another 5 minute walk into croydon town centre. The house is set in a lovely residential area/street with little through traffic and a mixture of Georgian and Edwardian houses. There is a very good medical centre within 2 minutes walk, Croydon town centre is a 10 minute walk and is the biggest shopping area outside of central London. All in all a very convenient place to live.

Train service from East Croydon to Victoria takes 15 minutes and runs 24hrs a day 7 days a week. East Croydon is also direct to London Bridge (12 mins), Charing Cross (15mins), Clapham Junction (12mins). The Croydon tram service goes past the top of the road (Lebanon Road tram stop) and this runs out to Wimbledon and Beckenham Junction/Elemers End.

ROOM - Its a huge loft room covering the top floor of the house. It has a queen size (5ft) bed, two wardrobes, multiple storage units, desk and its own sofa. Its large enough to use as your own lounge and bedroom combined when you just want to escape and chill. The room has four windows and is very bright. Its fully carpeted and has recently been decorated.

US - We are a bunch of 30's professionals gay men living in a home, this is not a student bedsit type house, its very comfortable and respectable and ideal for someone who appreciates somewhere peaceful and relaxing to escape to after work (you must be working sorry). Its a non smoking house....no exceptions....(you can smoke in the garden if you feel the need). We are not 24/7 party animals, we all work too hard for that, but we're not boring either, occupations Finance/Supply Chain/IT/Retail.

YOU - We are looking for another similar normal (getting a lot of strange replies !!) young/middle aged professional GAY MAN to share with us. You must be working, preferably sociable hours, sociable and friendly and English speaking. The right couple might be considered (there would be a slight increase in rent for double occupation).

For the avoidance of doubt, I am NOT looking for a STRAIGHT MALE/FEMALE/COUPLE no matter how Gay Friendly you are so please don't email me unless you are a GAY MALE. This is my commitment to current occupants that they will be sharing with other Gay Men and I want to maintain this.

DEPOSIT - One months rental

BILLS - Utility bills are not included and are shared among the occupants, averages around £35 month

CLEANING - Currently we all club together to pay a cleaner once a week for communal areas, this varies depending on tenants requirements, sometimes we all agree to share the cleaning ourselves. Current arrangement works well but its a communal decision.
