Double room for single occupancy in Bookham

We have a newly-decorated double room in a detached family home. All-week or five-night lets (Mon-Fri/Sun-Thurs) considered. The room is £500 per month (or £450 on a 5-night basis).

The room dimensions are: 11’7” x 9’4” / 3. 53m x 2. 85m. It's fully furnished and includes: single bed with new mattress and bedding; bedside table; large fitted wardrobe; storage unit; table and chairs; lamp; 32” Panasonic flat-screen TV; DVD player.

There's shared use of: upstairs shower room (with power shower, sink and toilet – no bath); upstairs study; large kitchen-breakfast room with all amenities; utility room; downstairs toilet; and garden.

All shared areas are well-maintained and have recently been re-decorated. We pay for a cleaner to come twice a week.

Free broadband/wifi access.

Parking space on driveway.

LOCATION:
Our house is in a quiet cul-de-sac in Bookham, near Leatherhead and is:
- approx. 2 minutes’ walk to Bookham High Street, and local bus stops to Leatherhead, Epsom, Guildford and Banstead (routes: 477, 478, 479, 489).
- approx. 5 minutes’ drive to Bookham station, with trains to Guildford and London (Waterloo line).
- approx. 8 minutes’ drive to Leatherhead.

WHO WE ARE:
A mother (retired teacher) and adult daughter (post-graduate student), plus two friendly dogs and two cats. (Our pets will be kept downstairs, but they will be in shared kitchen area, etc).

OTHER INFORMATION:
All bills are included (except phone calls).

There’s no smoking in the house, but you can smoke in the garden.

Not suitable for shift-workers.
