The ladies in the house have chosen to swap rooms so you may have looked at the house but it's a different room now available.

A room up for grabs in a beautiful Victorian house in the centre of Guildford - literally stones throw from the high street. The house is quite traditional for example - feature fireplaces and original coving and bags of other Victorian character.
The room it's self is a large double 12ftx12ft which is fully furnished and has a small built in wardrobe. It's tucked away at the back of the house overlooking the garden, with traditional fireplaces. In addition to this it has what the Victorians call a 'cot room', which means it has an extra room off the back to do as you wish with: dressing room, office, snug/personal lounge, the choices are endless. This is why the rent is higher, as it's 2 rooms in one!
Other things to note about the house: it has both separate lounge and dinning room, the kitchen runs off the dining room, perfect for dinner occasions. Like most guildford town houses the bathroom is on the ground floor, beyond the kitchen. Having once had my own reservations about this, I can assure you that this it's not a problem - and in fact helps that it's not near anyone's room when it's in use. The shower is powerful, and over the bath.

A cleaner that comes weekly, meaning no bickering about who's turn it is to clean the bathroom, or underlying resentment that you hovered last!
Courtyard garden with BBQ that gets the sun all day. This is such a huge bonus for any house but especially living in the town centre and what most flats wont be able to offer. Nothing better than drinking wine and having a BBQ on those summer evenings.
And the last but main thing, a welcoming house.

We are all friends, we get on and really like to socialise with each other. Maybe go to the pub, cook dinner, share wine, or a cup of tea and have BBQ in the summer. We are looking for a person on a like-minded wave length that wants to join a house that is a home rather than just living in their bedroom

Just one other thing, There is a parking permit but it won't be for the road it's for a street around the corner, the permit is £80 for the year. The high street is at the end of the road and train stations is 15 mins walk away.
