Double room (en-suite) in gorgeous modern flat

Lovely, double ensuite room in a gorgeous and modern two-bedroom flat in the centre of Guildford – literally 3 min walk from Upper High Street (George Abbot’s statue).
My current flatmate is leaving the flat at the end of February so I am looking for a new housemate to share the flat with me.

The flat is very nice and modern, on the first floor of a block of six flats. I have been renting the smaller bedroom for a year and a half now, and I love living here. The room available is a good size double, fully furnished with a big built-in wardrobe. It is ensuite and has its own powerful shower. The flat has recently been redecorated to a modern finish; it is fully furnished and has a lovely new large kitchen (including all white goods, oven, microwave, hobs, etc), dining area and lounge.

The rent also includes an allocated, secured parking space in a residential car park at the back of the house. The building has a nice common backyard and a big shed that can be used to keep your bike or as a storage space. It is a nice and safe place to live, with the added bonus of being located right in the centre of town and very close to Guildford’s train stations (10min walk from main train station and 5min walk from London Road train station). Fast and reliable wireless broadband; bills are not included but they come to about £80-100 per person and cover electricity, water, council tax and Internet.

Now, a few words about me: I am a young professional, Italian but I have lived in the UK for over six years. I work at the University of Surrey, love my job, I am hard-working but I also enjoy socialising, for example share a glass of wine and an interesting conversation over dinner (I’m a good cook!) from time to time, watch a movie or go out and enjoy Guildford’s night life :) I am tidy, clean, and respectful of other people’s space and privacy. I am searching for someone on a like-minded wavelength who is looking to live in a home rather than simply a houseshare.
