I moved into this beautiful 2 double bedroom flat after it had been renovated to a high standard in August 2012. I have been very happy here for the last four years. My current flat mate is returning to the USA in early July.

The rent for the flat is £1300 a month, each is room is £650. The bills are not included but we have each been paying £150 a month into a joint account. This pays for the Gas Central Heating, electricity, water, council tax and BT infinity, all of which are paid for by direct debit.

The spacious double bedroom comes with a freestanding wardrobe, additional hanging space, chest of draws, bedside table and a double bed. There are currently two additional small storage units in the room that will be left behind for you to use. These can be removed if you wish. In the kitchen there are all mod con’s including a well stocked biscuit tin! The bathroom is spacious and there is a lovely bright living room with a very comfortable sofa, TV and dining area.

Although the Postcode is Kingston, we are a lot closer to Surbiton. Effingham Lodge is situated in Parking Permit area G1; these are easily obtainable from Kingston Council. Surbiton station is only 0. 4 miles away with fast trains to Waterloo every 20 minutes. Kingston station is 1 mile away and has trains every 15 minutes to Waterloo; this is easily accessible by the 71, 72, 465, K2, K3 and the Night buses 281 and 65, which all stop nearby. At the opposite end of Uxbridge Road on Portsmouth Road you can also catch the 458 and 459.

Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Boots and many other high Street shops, restaurants and cafes can be found in Surbiton, which is only a 5 minute walk away; Kingston boasts a much larger shopping area and night life. The River Thames is at the end of the road and Richmond and Bushy Parks are a short journey away.

I am looking for a non smoking professional who is tidy, considerate and hopefully a bit of fun too! My job takes up a lot of my time but I also like to relax and take time out as well.
