The property was redecorated 18 months ago and had new beds and carpets as well as paint.

This is a very quiet street. By some fluke we are in a sound dead spot and there is very little traffic noise. In addition the bedroom walls adjoining the neighbour have been soundproofed. It is a good area with excellent primary schools nearby so there are many families with small children and parties tend to involve more jelly than loud music...

The room is L shaped and 345cm long by 220cm with a wider part (340cm) just big enough for the door to open fully and fit a chest of drawers. It also has a wardrobe and 2 under bed drawers and is painted plain white.
The room is soundproofed on the side adjoining my neighbour (we are end of terrace) and have new grey black and white speckle carpet that is neutral in overall tone.

The (large) kitchen has washing-up machine, washing machine and tumble drier as well as fridge and freezer and the cooker has 6 rings and two ovens. It is stone paved with brown granite work surfaces and plenty of cupboards.

The house is 5 minutes walk from Richmond Park, 10 minutes from the Cromwell Road Bus Station and 15-20 minutes from Norbiton and Kingston Stations, Kingston Town Centre and the Thames.

Perhaps I should also mention that your gender, sexual orientation, religion or lack of it and nationality are irrelevant - in fact I enjoy diversity. I'm an English Literature graduate interested in history and current affairs and am inclined to believe more in incompetence than conspiracy.

The garden is South facing and I usually grow some veg. This year there's some rearranging happening but the basic idea of a wildlife friendly space remains. We get squirrels and parakeets as well as the usual robins, blue tits etc.
