Double room in Thornton Heath £500 PCM inc bills

Hi, I'm a 28 year old live-in landlady in Thornton Heath.

It's a 2 bed flat and I occupy one room, and I'm looking for a lodger to rent out the second. It's a small but bright double room and there's a shared bathroom. There is a living room (without a TV) but I like to have my own space so am ideally looking for someone who is happy in their own company and not always in the communal area.

A bit about me: I work full time for an international charity, I volunteer on Saturdays with young refugees, I am taking Spanish classes, I practice yoga, I often go swimming or to the gym in the evenings, and when I'm in the flat I like to read, cook, bake and work on doing up my flat, bit by bit.

I am a vegan and would ideally like to live with someone who is vegetarian or vegan, though I will consider someone who isn't if they are happy to have separate cooking equipment.

I love animals, especially dogs, so am happy to consider a lodger who has pets. However, the flat may not be suitable for all pets' lifestyles as there is no direct access to the garden, it's a separate entrance through the garage, and this may not be convenient for an animal that needs to be outside a lot. But if you have a pet that is mostly inside anyway, it may work.

The flat is a 15 minute walk from Thornton Heath station (zone 4) or a 5 minute bus from Norbury (zone 3) which is only a 20 minute train from London Victoria. There are also links to London Bridge and Croydon as well as buses to Streatham, Brixton and the much desired area of a Crystal Palace.

The cost is £500 per month including all bills, council tax, internet and I'm also looking to get a cleaner.
