Thanks for checking out this listing. Three young professionals looking for one extra person to share a lovely, good-sized four-bedroom house in Houghton le Spring. The house has...

The available room is a really good size, 21 feet long by 11 feet wide. It has high 9 foot ceilings and feels really light and airy. The room has just been professionally re-decorated in a warm off-white with a light grey feature wall and has had a brand new thick and high quality tonal carpet fitted.

The room has a double bed with comfy mattress from John Lewis. Other furniture in the room includes a wardrobe, matching desk, chair, side table and new curtains. The room looks great for having been re-fitted, having had over £1,000 spent on it on a recent refurbishment in 2015. There is plenty of shelving space in the room too.

The bathrooms are all new, one with brand new shower fitted. The upstairs bathroom is large and has separate bath, and walk in shower, wash basin and loo. Downstairs bathroom has walk in shower, wash basin and loo, and the third bathroom is en suite (in an already-occupied room) -- plenty of facilities when getting ready in the morning.

Utilities are in with the rent -- includes electricity, gas, water, council tax, internet (unlimited broadband package), landline, use of washing machine, oh and our lovely cleaner lady, Magic Ann! Ann is brilliant, and keeps the place sparkling. She does all the public areas of the house, all the bathrooms, floors, dusting, kitchen, utility room, the lot -- meaning we don't have to lift a finger around the house, and this is all included in the rental price of £350 a month. Ann will even do your ironing for you, for an extra £10.

We are looking for someone around our age -- between 20 and 45 ideally, who is friendly, easy to get along with, and who is relatively tidy. Either male or female is fine. Young professional would be cool! Sorry, no couples or pets.

About us... Mark and Esme
Mark is a ceramic artist and Esme is a self employed sports therapist. Mark has a ceramics workshop at the end of the yard! We get on well and have a laugh, but also happy to spend time by ourselves.
