Kenton is a peaceful, residential neighbourhood, occupied mostly by families. I know my neighbours, which is great!

Near the house are local convenience stores, eateries, a post office, and a community library (2 min walk).

Transport:

Located conveniently between Newcastle International Airport and Newcastle city centre. Commute from the airport by public transport is a 5-minute Metro ride, followed by a 5-min bus ride (3 miles). A cab ride costs under £10 and takes approximately 10 min.

Easy access to the city centre with its universities, hospitals, shops, and restaurants.

Commute by public tranport from the city centre/ train station is by bus, the ride takes 10-20 min (4 miles). The bus frequency is 10 min during the day, and 20 min at night (after around 7 or 8 pm). The bus stop is a 30-second stroll from the house.

The bus route takes you through many key parts of Newcastle city centre- the Haymarket and Monument Metro stations, the train station, Newcastle University, Northumbria University, Grainger market, the Centre for Life, and the coach station.
