Seaside Flat looking for second Inhabitant

Hello,
I have a spare room in a lovely, quiet little flat in the center of Whitley Bay, close to the beach, shops, and only 5 minutes to Metro and buses.
The flat has a large lounge and dining area, a lovely balcony to sit outside in the sun (when it is warm enough) to watch over the communal gardens :-).
About myself, I work full-time as a researcher at Newcastle University, normally get up very early and have quite a buzzing day.
I am looking for a flatmate to also become a friend, so to have a nice easy chat in the evening over a cup of tea or do small things such as occasionally cooking together, or having a nice evening watching a DVD and sharing a glass of wine.
Something else which might be important to know: I am an active member of the couch-surfing community (please have a look at their website in case you do not know what it is!)
I am quite easy going, like to laugh and try to keep the kitchen and common areas quite clean and tidy.
