This large Victorian family home with high ceilings has a friendly atmosphere where you will be welcome to share the living rooms, kitchen, conservatory and sunny garden. The tenant in the single room uses a bathroom with both bath and shower; the double room tenant has a window that lets in the morning sunshine and a private en-suite. There are regular buses to the Uni, Leamington, Warwick and Coventry, and a permit is available for parking directly on the street. The house is located at the top of Abbey Fields which provide picturesque walks, a small lake, stream, romantic Kenilworth Castle, and breath taking sunrises & sunsets.

It's a 4-minute walk into Kenilworth town for cafés, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, library, restaurants, charity shops, and a regular street market every Thursday for fresh fish, veggies, bakery, fruit and a butcher. If you've not yet had cinnamon buns or wholemeal bread from our neighbouring artisan baker "Crustums" you haven't lived - look them up online....

The nearby bus stop takes you on a 7-minute ride to Warwick Uni, Leamington, Coventry, or Warwick. The gigabit Internet connection is ridiculously fast with unlimited data, and both Digital terrestrial and satellite TV are available in the living room.

My beautiful, but very annoying, furry friend got new cat flaps fitted just for him to come and go outside, and everyone tolerated me smoking discretely in the garden even though the adverts are for non-smokers.

There was always a cosy corner somewhere for me to watch my films or to natter with my Mum on the phone. She's amazed to see photos of how our house decorations light up dramatically for Christmas, Valentine's, Easter and Hallowe'en.

Both bedrooms are quiet and secluded at the top of the house, so you can easily slip away to read, relax or recover from a busy day. There is practically no-one walking past your bedroom door.

As a part of our household however, you'll be very welcome to come and socialise downstairs and use the living rooms or conservatory for music, scrabble, reading, watching Bitchute , Rumble or Instagram, playing the grand piano or wherever your interests lie. You might even impress yourself with barista skills on our professional LaSpaziale espresso machine!

We're sure you'll make friends quickly with our hilarious chickens and we'll look forward to seeing you at Whateley House.
