Room in Cottage for Short Term Let

I am looking for short term lets only. The reason for this is that the property has only one bedroom which would be used by my guest, while I would use the sofabed in the living room. I would like to see the property being used as an alternative to a guest house or bed and breakfast, possibly whilst visiting the area or whilst looking for more permanent accommodation.

The cottage is a small terraced property but is very quaint with original oak beams. The bedroom has a double iron bedstead with 2 chests of drawers and one wardrobe. The room is very light and sunny as there are two windows.

My guest would have full use of the kitchen, which includes gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave, and full use of the living room which has a lovely Laura Ashley sofabed. There is freeview tv and Broadband connection.

There are many amenities in the local town which include a leisure centre, swimming pool, theatre, library, museum and cinema. There is a very good bus service approx 50 yards from the cottage.

The cottage is just a 50 yard walk from the Neath canal and the River Neath, which is very popular with walkers. Also only a 5 minute drive from Aberdulais Waterfalls which is one of many attractions the area has to offer.

A little bit about myself, I work full time as an Administrative Assistant in the local Further Education College, and also work occasionally in the evening and weekend as a Care Support worker.

I enjoy walking, socialising and spending time with my grandchildren, but also enjoy a quiet evening at home.

PS I would consider renting out the property as a whole, for a short period of time, and would be happy to negotiate the rent.
