My name's Andy, and I have a double room to rent in my rather marvellous mid-terrace Victorian house on King Edward Road, slap bang in the centre of Moseley.

The room is on the ground floor, has wooden floorboards, comes fully furnished, and is nice and light thanks to a large bay window.

The house has a modern open plan kitchen / living area, with French doors that open out to a well-kept garden, with decking, astro-turf, and a flippin' full sized ping pong table!

The living room is equipped with an unnecessarily large TV, Sky HD (with ALL the trimmings), and 2 of the most comfortable leather sofas in Birmingham.

The main bathroom has a large, original iron bath, airing cupboard, toilet and sink.

The shower room has recently been refitted in limestone tiles, with a decent sized walk in shower (with body jets), a sink & toilet.

The entire house is covered by a fast WiFi connection.

The house is situated no more than 20 meters from the Fighting Cocks pub, 30 meters from Sainsbury’s & Somerfield, and only a couple of meters further to Moseley private park – you couldn’t get more central than this!

I’m currently living here with 2 male flatmates - Mark & Brendan - and a totally bonkers bengal cat. We’re all young professionals (except for the cat), working in the areas of design / ecommerce / marketing, accountancy, and recruitment. We’re all very outgoing, easy to get on with, and keep the house clean & tidy.

So, the room is £300 per calendar month, and we have a house bank account set up for bills – an additional £100 per month will cover everything (gas, elec, phone line, broadband, cleaner, council tax, sky, etc). £400 all in.
