Spacious double en-suite in large, comfortable, period house in central Walsall for a professional to join 2 others working in education and media.

The house feels like a home and not a house-share as two of us have been living here for more than 9 years (one of us is the owner) along with other professionals from various cultural backgrounds.

The house is a spacious Victorian end terrace with original period features and is friendly, clean, tidy, safe, peaceful and relaxing. It is situated in a quiet Chuckery street near the Arboretum (on-street parking) and a 5 minute walk to the town centre - a good location if you are considering a commute to Birmingham or Wolverhampton

The bedroom measures 4 x 4.5 meters and has a large en-suite shower room. The room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers, desk and shelving.

There are also two large reception rooms with real fires, a dining room, kitchen, laundry room and a garden - all shared. There is also a small guest bedroom for visitors.

Currently there are two men sharing the house - along with a labrador and a cat but the house has always worked well when there is a mix of genders. So ideally we would like a woman to join us.

Rather than share our home with the first person to show interest, it is more important that we find the most suitable individual we can get along with and in turn, someone who will be happy living with us. A good sense of humour is essential. We are LGBT friendly.

The property with its large rooms and variety of communal spaces has worked well as a house-share for single professionals for more than 15 years. Whilst we may very occasionally get together for communal meals most of the time we live independently of each other.
