Furnished Double Room To Rent

I am advertising a double room to rent on behalf of my ex-landlady, Helen (although she hates being called the landlady!) as she is not computer literate!

If you are looking for a really special place to live - this is it! Helen's first words to me were "treat this place like your home" and she used to think there was something wrong if I sat in my room!

Helen lives across the road at the pub so is handy if you need her. The other housemates are a lady called Sue - a lovely lady who enjoys her cooking and Shane - the chef at the pub and a real nice guy! Have often sat round the table with them both listening to music, having a nice meal and doing a crossword together!

You will sometimes have the house to yourself with a newly decorated kitchen diner with large table, washing machine, fridge freezer, oven & hob, living room with wide screen tv & surround sound (and very comfy reclining sofas!)and beautifully decked & lawned back garden (bbq, starwberry, tomato & herb plants and patio furniture). Food, cooking, cleaning, gardening, washing and ironing are all shared at the moment (up to you if you prefer to do your own).

The room is bright, clean and spacious, newly decorated with a built- in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and double bed with bedding provided.

The village is very friendly with Hickstead Showground on your doorstep (if you like show-jumping), lots of beautiful walks in the summer & an olde-worldy local pub...but you are only 25mins drive to Crawley, 20mins drive to Brighton or 3 miles from Hassocks train station. Hurstpierpoint is also only about a mile & a half away with a good selection of local shops, pubs, restaurants and lots of community spirited events & clubs going on.

If you want a real oasis of peace & quiet but within easy reach of everywhere and housemates that are frinedly, supportive, honest and kind - this is the place for you!

Rent includes some Sky channels, all bills (except telephone) & WiFi.
