Room in colourful 3 bed house, Meanwood

We are looking for a third housemate to join us in our light and colourful house in Meanwood, as our other housemate is moving in to a new house with their partner. The house is 3/4 bedrooms so you have the choice of two rooms - we tend to use the spare room for drying laundry and storing miscellaneous junk (as you will see on the photos, but I promise there are car boot sale plans in the pipeline). We have shared bathroom, kitchen and living room, with access to the property from the front and back.

Parking is available on the street and you can usually park close to the property. We are about a 10-15 minute walk from central Headingley and the 51/52 bus stops practically across the road, which goes straight into town and takes 15-20 minutes depending on the time of day.

Nearby there are a number of bars, cafes, take aways and charity shops, as well as an Aldi, Asda and Waitrose. We are also close to green spaces such as Woodhouse Ridge, Meanwood Park and the Hollies.

Me and Myra have been in the house for almost three years and are hoping to stay here for a while yet! We both work at the University of Leeds (a 30 minute walk away) and enjoy the usual things- eating delicious food, listening to music, watching films and so on. We're both creative, lefty types - I am more of a homebody whereas Myra is more sociable. We'd love to have a friendly and like-minded house mate to help our continued house dressing (I blame the recent trip to Copenhagen for this current obsession) and perhaps some cocktail making or tea drinking too.

The boring stuff upfront: in addition to the deposit our letting agent also asks for £66 as fees for obtaining the new tenant's references, and £20 each for amending the contract.
