Candle House, Leeds LS1

A fantastic furnished double room in a stunning city centre flat will therefore be available to let to one lucky person from on/around w/e of Sat 12 November 2016. The flat is on the 11th floor and the south facing balcony looks out over the canal and further beyond to the green fields on the edge of the city. My room is ensuite and so the spare room benefits from the exclusive use of the main bathroom.

Candle House sits by the canal and forms part of the serene yet exciting hub that is Granary Wharf. The building itself can be no more than a 1 minute walk from the train station (thanks to the new south entrance!), and the city centre is merely a stone's throw away. There is an Estates Office which looks after the building from day to day and even takes receipt of post for you if needs be when you are not there. The communal panoramic roof terrace (which is for the exclusive use of Candle House residents) needs to be seen to be believed!

I am a 33 yr old male young professional working in Leeds. The room would suit a similar male or female I guess, but I am in no way averse to something different.

I am often away at weekends and so the sharer would get plenty of time to enjoy the place to themselves and with their friends. Having said that, I am certainly no recluse - I can frequently be found running up and down the canal or enjoying a bite to eat and drink at one of the many local fine bars/restaurants.

Term would certainly be negotiable, but a 6 month stay to begin with would be ideal. In terms of rent, I would be looking for something like £750 - £800 pcm but this would be ALL IN (i. e. inclusive of council tax, electricity, water, heating, Sky HD, wifi, home contents insurance and even a cleaner!)
