Ash Vale
Ash Vale is situated in the west of Surrey on the border with Hampshire.
There is a village centre with shops (including a small Budgens supermarket), with larger shopping centres being at Farnborough to the north-west, and Aldershot to the south-west (both in Hampshire).
The Blackwater river runs along the western border of the village. The Basingstoke canal runs north through Ash Vale towards Frimley then north-east to Woking and Byfleet, where it joins the Wey Navigation and then the Thames.
Ash Vale railway station is on both the Alton to London Waterloo and the Ascot to Guildford lines. Nearby North Camp station is to the Reading to Guildford/Redhill line.
The A331 road provides access to the M3 at junction 4.
Farnborough Airfield, to the west, is used principally by business jets.

Basingstoke Canal running through the village centre with swans and ducks on it gives a lovely country village feel to the place
