There is a 25 (20 minute or less for a very fit person) minute walk to Salisbury centre and buses are available.
I am not too worried about the sex of my lodger but this house does lend itself more to a female as there is only one bathroom which includes the only toilet in the house. That is up to anyone interested to decide.
