PhD researcher looking for friendly share/buddy up
(No agents please)
Hey there,
Available July onwards. I'm a history PhD researcher at Queen Mary, London and looking for a room in either Islington, Finsbury Park, Kentish Town or Victoria Park or similar zone 2 locations if its the right place / people. Double room is preferred and would prefer to buddy up too.
I do a lot of reading obviously ;) and other interests include running, cycling, usually a lot of travel, gardening/house plants, wildlife, languages. Currently learning Hebrew but before had good Duolingo streaks on Arabic, Greek and French.
I have an office on campus (Mile End) and often have to travel for research (mostly Cambridge). That said I still do WFH on some days.
Looking for find a good balance between doing things together as a house and personal space. I know London well and have a good network here but always up for exploring / new experiences. My previous tenancy was purely functional, so am definitely looking for people to have a drink with after a long day...
