Hi there,
My name's Benny, I've been living for the past 3 years in Greece, working in a supported accommodation programme for people with psychosocial difficulties, and now I'm moving to Edinburgh to study an MSc in the psychology of mental health, and also work part time.

I'm keen on learning languages, and I can speak Arabic, decent French and passable Greek, in case you need help with any of those. I'm interested in psychology, clinical philosophy, comparative literature, history, cinema, art and outdoor exercise (I enjoy running and open water swimming, particularly cold water). I'm keen on experimental cooking as well, coming up with new dishes and flavours.

I'm sociable, but also at baseline definitely get my energy from having a relaxed space to recharge in. I love people and socialising and having a good involved chat in the pub, while also valuing my own time and space to take it easy.

I've always shared houses with others, and I like a friendly environment that's also relaxed. I tend not to have guests round that much, preferring to go to the pub or for food, or to sit outside in a park, but I don't mind it at all if other flatmates do have people round. As a housemate I'm easygoing, tidy and respectful of other's space and time, and have been regularly told that I'm a good person to live with!

For the letting agency/landlord: I'm a UK citizen, and I can provide landlord references and a UK based guarantor (if the landlords require it, as I will be studying full time from September). I'm also happy to pay council tax.
