French 24 y/o looking for a room (and flatmates)

I am a 24 year-old French student of English and am looking for a room for the upcoming school year (2019-2020) from September to June, with regular public transportation accessible by foot.

I can go as high as 400? a month (or a bit more if I find the location or the place really worth it) including all the bills and the Wi-Fi.

I will be working part-time as a French Language Assistant in Lanchester, and, as I will also be looking for a second job, I would like to live in or near Durham where both my ability to reach my workplace and my search for another job will be made easier. I start working at the end of September 2019, so I can move during the second half of the month.

I would like to live with people who are respectful and open-minded (so not with bigoted views such as racism, homophobia, mysogyny...).

I have 6 siblings, so I am used to sharing chores and respecting other people's space and belongings (and expect people to do the same). I believe that sharing chores and responsibilities is at the core of living in good terms and am ready to do my share. I am a night owl. I do not mind most pets nor if anyone smokes (even if I do not smoke myself).

I like to go out with friends (for drinks, walks, to the cinema?), stay home to read / watch tv series and films, play board games or video games (whether by myself or with others), but I am open to new things.

I would also like to visit the UK, so if anyone feels like travelling, that could be cool to do it together ^-^

English is not my first language, so I might have some communication issues at times. I am a bit socially awkward at first, but once I am used to someone, it gets better.
I really hope that if we do become flatmates, we can also become friends.
