We're searching for a short term home

Hello there and thank you for reading.

My name is Roy I'm 31 and my partner Melissa is 34. We're looking to rent a flat, house or double room preferably in Kendal. If you look at the preference you'll see that I've put down loads of places (windermere, ambleside, etc) but this is really just false hope; as I know there isn't much going and the rent people ask is crazy.

We're both keen rock climbers and boulders, well Mel is more so than myself I'm happy to have a beer in the pub and watch crap films (I do also like good films) but Mel loves to climb and often drags me out.

We both work in or around the lake district. I myself work in the world of tree surgery and Mel is working at an amazing Veggie/Vegan cafe.

What we are looking for is to rent a place, 1 bed appartment or house if its just us. Or a 2 bed place if we 'buddy up' with someone. Our price per month isn't great but if we could combine this with someone else then obviusly we could all afford somewhere bigger and nice. We're both super easy to get along with, clean (I was gonna put very clean but that makes us sound like clean freaks, we are not) and I enjoy cooking and entertaining guests. We're up for house sharing with others already out there too, so if you have a room going, give us a shout.

We are hoping to find somewhere furnished but if needs-must and the budget doesn't cover it I can always get on freecycle and gumtree and and find furniture.
