Looking for a home to join !

I have (finally!) moved down to London from the Lake District after starting a job in a civil service climate science team back in October. I’m currently living somewhere temporary and looking for somewhere to call home.

I’d love to live with 2-3 others in a sociable, clean and tidy house/flat, with a room with desk space for working from home, secure cycle storage and ideally also with a garden or some form of outside space! Soon I’ll be working at least a couple of days a week in the office in Westminster, so ideally want to be in Battersea/Oval/Stockwell/Vauxhall, but definitely open to alternative locations. My budget is max £700 ideally including bills.

In terms of what you can expect living with me; I tend to get along with pretty much everyone so will settle in quickly with new people. I have friends in London so won’t be under your feet all the time, but really keen to have housemates who are also good friends and cook/go to the pub/socialise together often. I’m always up for any form of outdoor activity and anything that involves food, and tend to be busy at weekends travelling around to see friends/climb big hills. As you’ve probably guessed from the job I’m very much an environmentalist and have been veggie for years, but not preachy about it and happy to live with meat eaters :)
