Looking for a lovely home

Hi !
I am looking for a new place to live after a year in my beautiful room - sadly the landlord is selling.
I am working in London Bridge, so would be great to live somewhere easy to commute (max 40min) but before anything else I want a place that feels right. Some areas I have in mind are Angel/Bow/Islington/Bermondsey/Shoreditch/Victory Park/Stokey/lewisham but would consider other options.

My moving date is around mid March, I have some flexibility.
My budget is up to 800 inc bills for a bright big double room in good location (then less if is doesn't suit all my "dream room" criteras)

My dream room and flat sounds like this:
double room, natural wood floor, natural light, white or light walls and possibly inbuilt storage as I am a fashion enthusiast so need some space.
I already have some furniture, so unfurnished is fine too.
I like quirky spaces, houses with character.
I also have bike so it would be great to have some storage/safe space for it.

I am a creative and art-oriented person, always up for a chat or a night out but I also like to be on my own and understand personal space.

I have a full-time job and a stable bank account. Can provide references from landlady and my current job.
I support LGBTIQA+, social issues and I am also vegetarian (don’t mind people eating meat at home)


What makes me the best flatmate is that when I am stressed I love to bake, tidy and clean around the house! My other interests include music (playing and gigs), hiking and second hand items.
