PhD Student Looking for a Room or Housemates

Ad ref# 14834356

I'm starting a PhD in Maths at Durham after doing my undergrad here. I'm looking for somewhere pleasant to work and with a bit of green space, with not too many housemates. The more like a family home, the better as far as I'm concerned. For the time being I'd need to live within the bounds of the city (no villages) - Neville's Cross or Gilesgate are ideal as I usually would like to come home and have dinner before being back in the city for 7.30 or so. I'd need a parking space and somewhere to put my bike.

I am rarely around in the evenings but like to socialise when I am. I wouldn't want a live-in landlord who I have to ask permission to have people over etc.

I like classical music, ring church bells and enjoy long conversations in the pub.
