Hey all!

I am a social science (highlighting that since some will say this is not science haha) researcher and currently a MSc in Inequalities and Social Science student at the LSE, this is my second year as a part-timer both in London and at the LSE.

I am looking for a room, two rooms (so I can move in with my friend) OR a flat which I could share with other students.

I like connecting to people – that normally happens either through activism and political discussions (you can guess for what I stand from the title of my study programme – yet it it is not that simple, since we actually need a programme to find answers to solutions of inequality as well as definitions of inequality haha. So if you are interested, I am more than happy to have discussions on (all kinds of) inequality, social justice, feminism (!), what's left for leftism, is leftism an answer, greening the economy, bullshit jobs, precariat and what not in that area honestly) or sharing food since I love cooking, particularly to others (ironically, I consider myself a feminist and unpaid reproductive work is one of my main research/activism interests, – but I still do enjoy cooking, really).

That's what is important more or less. My BA background lays in political science if that helps you to relate (to me, it does, but it never finishes there). In doing that, I realised that macro level analysis to me has to connect to meso and micro and entail a component of qualitative research so in short, whether you are aware of those terms or not, I really love connecting to those who are different from me and authentically experiencing that connection while becoming a more culturally flexible person on my way.

Professionally, I worked as a researcher and policy analyst at an NGO before coming to the LSE, this is the pathway I will most likely try to pursue in the future with some cherries on top. Or I will just become a waitress for a while to get to experience real life and wake up from this intellectual immersion – it has been a lot of it. Before I worked as a policy analyst at a policy consultancy (mainly we worked with government bodies and EU institutions) and a freelance analyst. Have a list of nice publications though as I started my career as a journalist in analytical journalism!

Practicalities-wise, I am serious about fulfilling my responsibilities so there should be no problem with that and I am as honest as a human being can get, you can anyway see on my face if something is wrong so I always tell the truth and most of the time it does not hurt :) I am a social person but also a really hard-working person so I will stay quietly in my room for unfortunately probably most of the time (studying MSc at the LSE takes guts) - this is also something to take into consideration for the flatmates since partying every day or even every week is not something I can do or live with easily. To me, it is not about rules, but about communication - I believe that if people care about each other and are ready to take each other's needs into consideration, also ready to be a bit flexible (I am learning that myself and would love to get lessons on it:)), also a bit upfront about their needs and plans, and treat the mess in the house as something that is a shared responsibility, then you can have whatever number of people in a flatshare and it will all go well.

Aaaand yeah the academic year has started from me and I am still crashing on my aunt's sofa, so i am looking for somewhere to move asap. Normally I am not like that but I guess I have remastered couchsurfer's and hitchhiker's spirit I once had as a student travelling in France and Italy. I thought she will never come back, and she did at the worst moment. So please adopt me and let me be a responsible adult again, I must not fail my degree haha.

The photo – me looking for you folks. In Florence a week or so ago when I was there for a Summer Academy at the EUI. If you like Italian food and laid-back culture, an additional point for you, if not, I will try making you love it (I am not Italian, I just feel I need that approach in my life and I love it. Just like pasta and pizza!).
