PhD student looking for a room

Hi, I'm Jasmin and I'm a first year PhD student doing climate justice research. I'm looking for a room in central Glasgow or West end (ideally) due to my current landlord selling my flat. My move-in date is super flexible - essentially anytime between now and June :)

I'm living a very busy life at the moment so I don't spend much time at home! I value my personal time and space after long days of work but I'm keen to hang out with my flatmate(s) when I got the time! In fact, I'd prefer to live with people who I could be friends with (if we vibe!) rather than just co-exist :) I'm not looking for a party flat (although I obvs don't have a problem with people having friends over, occasional parties etc.), just somewhere nice, chill and clean!

I enjoy spending time outdoors whether that's for hillwalking or other activities. I'm also really into environmentalism, sustainability and all that stuff so I'm a proper granola girl (in a good way, I promise!). I used to practice circus (flow, aerials, pole) before a knee injury last year and I'm hoping to get back into it soon! I also do quite a bit of volunteering, enjoy good food, knit ridiculous amounts of socks and I own about 20 plants (most of them live at work though so don't worry)! I'm also vegan but I don't care what you eat and won't judge anyone - just mentioning it in case someone is looking for a plant-based flatmate!

I'm looking for a flat with no indoor air problems! My budget is up to 600-650£/month bills included depending on the location (aka whether uni will be within a walking distance). If I find a suitable flat I'm ok to pay council tax despite my student status too :)
