International MA student looking for flatmate(s)

Hello! My name is Liz, I'm a 28-year old American, coming to London in August/September to do a MA at UCL and am looking for a welcoming group of people (or person) with whom to share a flat. I would very much like to be friends with my future flatmate(s) and be able to share a glass of wine or two. Ideally looking for folks in their late 20s - mid 30s.

I've spent the last 6 years living and working abroad in the international development sector; I currently live in Jordan, where I regularly embarrass myself with my entirely mediocre Arabic (thank you, American education system).

Some random facts about me include that I once participated in an overnight 250km relay race from the Dead Sea to the Red Sea, have memorized the first two dozen digits of pi (thank you again, American education system), and enjoy a good rant every now and then about the hypocrisy and futility of international aid. People also tell me I bake excellent cookies.

I am clean, neat, tidy, spotless, sanitary, unsullied, and whatever other adjectives appear to be a sine qua non for these posts.

If you've gotten this far, you've probably already realized that I'd prefer flatmates who enjoy irony and self-deprecating humor.
