3 months in Manchester

We are family …
My name is Cecilia, I work such a lecturer, and I will be 44 years old soon, and I am going to stay for 3 months in Manchester. Until 23th August with my 12-year-old son (NOT 18), he is quite shy and quiet, but I need a place until 11 September. So double room can work as well, and I can be somewhat flexible with the dates.
Maybe it is too much, but I don't want to leave my cat Haku behind, has a strong attachment to me, and he kneads me every day, even though he is already 2 years old.
