Quiet, clean and friendly girl looking for a room.

Hi there!

My name is April and I am looking for a spare room to move into, generally in the New Forest/Southampton area.
I would ideally like to be within 20 mins walk of a railway station, as I am still learning to drive.

I will start by saying I do have a pet rabbit, she is very clean, quiet, and well-behaved but I understand not everyone feels comfortable renting to tenants with pets, so just a note before you read any further!
Below I will outline some information about me, my pet, and my preferences.

About me:

I am quiet, clean, and keep to myself. I do not smoke or drink. I have never had an issue paying my rent, and am happy to obtain a reference from my previous landlord, if needed.

I am not the loud partying type and love nothing more than getting cosy in my room with a blanket and a hot chocolate- so I will never cause any noises or disturbances. I am a bit of a homebody so like to stay in a lot, but always happy to socialise :) Please note I do like to spend lots of time at home, but I am very environmentally conscious so don't leave lights on/plugs on/ use excessive electricity etc which is a bonus with rising bill costs at the moment 🥰

I am looking to move as I am currently in a shared house with lots of people and would like to find somewhere quieter with less people and noise!

My pet:

I have a beautiful rescue rabbit called Nellie. Nellie is clean, quiet, and in a secure enclosure. She is in my bedroom, and completely litter trained. Unlike with dogs or cats, rabbits are odourless and make no noise so are great to have around. Her enclosure is similar to a puppy pen with flooring- and I have additional small panels to block off restricted areas if required. As I rabbit-proof my accommodation securely, this ensures that there is no risk of damage. I am more than happy to pay a larger deposit for your peace of mind.

My preferences:

I am looking for a room within walking distance to a railway station, in a quiet area. I am happy with either a single or double room, although I would prefer a single bed as this allows more space for me and my rabbit.

I do not mind who I live with, as long as you are kind and respectful in return. I am an animal lover so more than happy to share with other pets and take care of them if you are away. (Obviously, if you have a pet that would view my rabbit as a tasty snack, let me know and we can discuss if living together would be suitable or not!)

I currently also have a hamster (in a cage of course), but he's quite old so might not be around for much longer, bless him. I am not planning on having any more pets so it will just be me and Nellie for the long-term.

I should note that I am in receipt of Universal Credit and PIP, this is due to health issues, but I have no problems with paying rent, and can provide proof of income and regular previous rent payments if you need. If you have any questions about this, please just pop me a message!
