Looking for a short-term (1-2) months rent

British Army Reservist between deployments, seeking a short-term rented accommodation. Can easily afford a long-term rental or a mortgage but don't need it now due to the nature of my work, so a short term room or a flat rental would be ideal.
Quiet, non-partying, spending most of the time at the PC.
Need a parking space, as well as a chair and a table in the room, even a simplest would do.
