Your Favourite Future Aussie Guests?

Hi there! We’re Sahara and Hamish—a couple of 25-year-olds from the remote, cow-dotted hills of Tasmania, Australia (yes, it’s real and not just a Warner Bros. cartoon setting). We’re embarking on a grand adventure to the UK from July through early September and are hoping to find a cozy place to call our home base during that time. *** This is not a honey moon***

A little about us: we come from a dairy farm in the middle of nowhere, so we’re very familiar with peace, quiet, and early mornings (though we won’t expect you to provide cows). We’re non-smokers, don’t drink, and pride ourselves on being respectful, tidy, and appreciative guests.

Sahara is the bubbly one who loves getting out and about, and Hamish is the quieter half of the duo—though he’s learned that “happy wife, happy life” is more than just a saying, it’s a survival strategy. Our time in the UK will be spent visiting family (especially Sahara’s grandparents in Harrogate) and introducing Hamish to the relatives he’s heard so much about—so we’ll mostly be out and about, using your place as a peaceful base to return to.

We’d be so grateful for the opportunity to stay in a welcoming space and would treat your home like our own (without rearranging furniture or stealing the good snacks). Thanks for considering us—we hope to meet you soon!
