Professional Australian couple needing room in Jan

ANOTHER UPDATE: Thanks so much for the replies so far. It's really appreciated! Please read our description before messaging us though especially the areas we are looking in and the fact we obviously CANNOT view a property until we get to London!

Hi there!

We are a professional Australian couple (Andrew is 31, Maddy is 24) coming to London in early January - Friday 6 Jan to be exact! We are both physiotherapists and will be working in a hospital in central London. We are looking for a double room in an existing share house ideally with 1-2 others or we would also be open to try and find a new place if another single or couple are looking for a place at the same time. Sorry we don't want to live in a place with more than 2-3 bedrooms.

Ideally we would like to find a place in zone 2 close to a tube station (especially Islington, St John's Wood/Swiss Cottage, Fulham/Chelsea, Kensington, or Paddington). Andrew also lived in Highgate for 2 years and would be more than happy to live around there again. Not particularly interested in other areas outside of zone 2 due to travel time involved. Also, do not want to live out by Hackney or any further east, out towards Canary Wharf, or really anywhere south east.

We need a place already furnished (however bare it may be!) It would need to have a double or queen bed, washing machine, fridge, microwave, and separate kitchen/living areas.

We are both very clean and considerate but also laid back and easy going. We understand the importance of a harmonious household who get on with one another. We love a night out at the pub but also appreciate a quiet night in! We would love to live in a social house that can share a drink and laugh together, but also fully respect other's space. We both love London and can't wait to get back there! We are also planning on doing a fair bit of travel while we're over there.

We would probably prefer to take a room in the interim for a short term let if you are going travelling etc. We would then look for a place when we get over to the UK.
