Hi, I'm Jodanabel

I'm looking for a place in North London and work in marketing for a small sustainability non-profit.

I've been living at home with my mother for the past year and a half in order to save money, now in a comfortable financial space and job I’m happy in, I'm looking for a houseshare to make a home. I work from home unless I’m supporting events, so a bedroom that fits a desk is a must.

I keep to a good standard of cleanliness, it's really important for mental health to not live in a revolving situation of mess, but at the same time I'm empathetic to other people's struggles and as long as people are open about e. g. the dirty pot left in the sink they promise to get to within 24h then I completely understand. As long as communication is open can't go wrong!

If you don’t have an air fryer I’ll bring one with me, and a really cool electronic stick brush thing that makes cleaning showers so easy. I'll also bring dumbbells I'm happy to share and sun lounger if there is space.

Previous cat owner, and would like to live in a house with a cat - it means you have a kitty cat I'm willing to offer support! I catsit for my bestie all the time, and have been paid to catsit 3 times in the past year.

I also love me plants. Wouldn’t have considered myself a plant person, but when I started my job I got into them. I’ll be bringing like 6 or so 30-50cm tall plants and a bunch of tiny succulents, they can live in my room, but can also brighten up other spaces if appropriate and desired. They all have names that are inside jokes with myself.

I’m an extremely sociable introvert, and yes, it confuses me too. I love a big sociable house even though I’ll be in my room 90% of the time, I’m occasionally super chatty and will have to tell you about the latest interesting wikipedia rabbit hole I went down, or just pop up with a fun fact. I LOVE a house meal, and other such Organised Fun.

I like crochet, fashions, theatre (I’ll invite you with! But no pressure :D ), Real Housewives (slight obsession), skincare, reading, festivals, raves, and pilates. I spend too much time on reddit.

I try to incorporate eco-friendly practises but not in a way that's difficult for others, e. g. Smol brand dishwasher tablets are competitively priced but more planet-friendly, and I personally will avoid using single-use surface wipes in place of reusable cloth and sprays, but I’ll never get on anyone else’s case because everybody can handle their own sustainability journey how it suits them, and I’m literally a meat eater so I can’t really chat.

I’m in search of a long-term home and space that we can love and feel happy in together.
