Me and my boy

I have two beautiful, impeccably trained and non-destructive Bulldogs. They are siblings and I have had them since puppyhood, and whilst I could never dream of moving into a flat without them, it does make finding a place to live that little bit more difficult!

Ideally I'm looking to live with flatmate(s) who also love dogs and who don't smoke. I'm in my final months of a postgraduate degree and am working from home most of the time at the moment, so wouldn't want to live anywhere too raucous. However, unless you're having house parties three times a week, I'm tolerant of most things!

Beyond that, my needs are very minimal. I would do all the work required to care for the dogs, although I would need to live with someone who is quite aware of things like not leaving doors/gates open etc. My dogs may be adorable but they're not the cleverest, and if they decided to wander the streets of Edinburgh they would probably end up on a train to London. I am a tidy person and pretty quiet around the place, but I also have a lot of interests and am very sociable. I get along with pretty much everyone.

I know tenants with pets are often an immediate red flag to people who want to preserve their homes, and I would agree that it isn't always a quiet life when you have two Bulldogs around! But if you're ambivalent about the issue, I would encourage anyone to have a pet in their home; they bring an uncomplicated happiness to every family, and often can be much easier to live with than people (myself excluded)!
