Short Term let for January

This generous sized, bright, warm double room located downstairs of a three bedroom house, available as a short term let for January 2024.

* Location *

5 minute walk from Aberdeen University campus and with easy and quick access to the Royal Infirmary and the city centre. There are plenty of smaller shops within a couple of minutes walking, with a Tesco Extra less than 10 minutes away. Both the Berryden and Kitty Brewster retail parks are a quick 5-10 min walk away, with the likes of Pure Gym, McDonalds, BnM, Sainsbury's etc. all within easy access. Free on street parking is available on the opposite side of the street and on nearby streets.

*Your New Room*

The room is fully furnished but if you want to bring extra furniture / need bits and bobs like a desk and chair, these may be available from us on request / by arrangement.

*House share*

Shared large bathroom, kitchen and communal sitting area. Windows are double glazed throughout and insulation has been updated recently.
The house will be shared with Alex (M, 32), one of the owners of the house, and his 2 small rescue dogs Nelson and Woody. Alex is a Geologist currently finishing his PhD at the University of Aberdeen. Gvidas (M, 24) rents the other upstairs bedroom and is a Geology student at the University of Aberdeen.
Alex's partner Lili (F, 34), the other owner of the house lives in England and visits occasionally for a few days at a time.

*Price*

£565 rent for the entire month of January, the price for the shorter term let can be agreed. This includes professional cleaning of all communal areas once a month, as well as broadband, electricity and gas with a generous allowance. (Excessive usage may incur additional charges).
If you're not a student, you'll have to pay council tax but will receive a discount as you'll be living with two full-time students. From February Council Tax (Band E), will be split between you and Alex. If you're a full-time student, you'll be exempt from Council Tax.

There is a relatively big garden in the back which we are working on improving just now and we enjoy eating and hanging out there.

*The new housemate*

We are looking for a real dog lover, as this is Woody and Nelson's home as much as it is ours. We take pride in our home and therefore would like to share it with somebody who is respectful, clean and tidy.
We do enjoy the odd games night, sharing home cooking and a bottle of wine with friends. A good sense of humour and friendly vibes are a must for the new flatmate. We are both very easy going and our home is LGBTQI+ friendly, open to lodgers from any or no faith backgrounds, and welcome international applicants.

We are unable to rent to couples, those with pets or children.
