The room available is a good-sized, unfurnished double bedroom (5.2 x 2.7m) on the top floor of the house.

We’re two female professionals (aged 26 and 27) working in education research and the arts. We’re not a party house, but we’re easy-going and friendly and we like to spend time socialising and cooking together – vegetarians and vegans are welcome. We’re considerate and tidy, and someone like-minded would fit in well.

The accommodation is a spacious maisonette with access to a decked garden. It has a large living room and a well-fitted, modern kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher. There’s a bathroom with an over-bath shower, and there is a separate toilet. The maisonette is fully double-glazed and has gas central heating. There is space to store a bike indoors, and there is on-street parking.

The maisonette is in a quiet location, but is convenient for the city centre (1, 2, 3 and U1 bus routes). It’s also within walking distance of Whiteladies Road and Gloucester Road, and is right by the Downs (a large green space, perfect for walking and picnics – we’ve tested it!). There’s a Waitrose, a library and a very reasonably-priced cinema, as well as a handful of independent shops, just at the end of the road. Henleaze high street is 10 minutes away.

Rent is £408 per person pcm. Bills aren’t included, but come to an additional £90 approximately per person pcm (Electricity/Gas, Water, Council Tax and high-speed Internet).
