Lodging a room in our beautiful loft flat

The Room

Hi!

We are looking for a lodger to fill a room in our beautiful 3 bedroom loft apartment. It's situated in the heart of Stokes Croft, a fantastic location for bars and restaurants and a short walk into town.

The 3 bedrooms:
1 double room: Our room
1 double ensuite (Up for grabs)
1 double room (Luke's office)

The Flat:
- Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer
- PS5
- HD TV
- Secure bike storage
- Beautiful big windows, it's always bright and airy in here
- We're on the main road but the top floor and triple glazed windows mean it's really quiet!

The room:
Double Ensuite, suuuper comfy memory foam mattress + ottoman bed with storage and blackout curtains. The room also has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, desk and desk chair.

We're away for part of the year!
We go away for 4 - 6 months of the year so we are looking for someone we can trust, who doesn't mind looking after the plants! Also, our companies are London-based so we're usually there for a few days each month.

What we're looking for:
Someone who's tidy and someone we can trust to look after the place while we're away - one of the perks of living here is you'll get the place to yourself for a few months every year. Saying that we'd also like someone we can relax with, and who'll join us for dinner/ pub/ a glass of wine/ a barbecue in the park!

We're also looking for another professional, ideally with the same working hours as us (9 - 6). It's no problem if you wfh some/ all of the week - you are welcome to use my desk the days I'm at the office. We enjoy hosting the occasional dinner party and having a few friends over at the weekend.

We're well past our clubbing days and aren't ashamed to say we're usually in bed by 11... so if you're a night owl this isn't the flat for you.

About us:
Shakira (me)
I work as a product designer for a healthcare company. I work from home 3 days a week and from a shared office 2 days a week. To relax I love cooking, I also do ceramics (which explains all the misshapen pots around the flat) and I've recently started rope climbing with Luke.

Luke (my boyfriend)
Works as a Customer Success manager for a company that makes software for social care. The third bedroom in the flat is his office and he works from home 5 days a week. He loves video games, watching Tottenham (usually lose) and bouldering.
