Double room in Redfield

Hi future flatmate!

My flat is located in Redfield and in walking distance to shops (ALDI!!!), pubs, parks and other essential amenities. The location has great transport links; Bus from right outside the flat, Lawrence Hill train station is a 10 minute walk, free on-street parking...

The flat is a 2 bedroom maisonette with the loft being my room, and everything else being located on the first floor. There is a shared bathroom with a bath / shower, toilet, sink and lots of storage. Please note that the shower is under the sloping roof and you don't really want to be any taller than 5'7'' (170cm) as otherwise you'll need to shower sitting down!

Your room is spacious and has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table with lamp. The room faces out to the back garden and comes with blackout blinds. There is no desk!

The kitchen has everything you need to cook and I'm happy to get anything else that might be missing for you. It is, however, a rather small kitchen, therefore the expectation for both of us is not to leave dishes around unnecessarily as this essentially makes the kitchen unusable. The fridge has lots of space for fresh food and there is plenty of storage for dry foods. Please note that there is no dishwasher.

Life gets busy, I work full-time and study along side, so there is a cleaner every 2 weeks to help us keep on top of things, but there is an expectation to keep things clean and tidy in between!

Cycle storage is available in the bike shed outside. Bikes can't be taken into the flat unfortunately.

There is a small patio out front which is shared with the downstairs flat, we've been planting tomatoes and chillies out there and you're welcome to join in on the gardening fun! The garden out back sadly isn't ours.

About me:

I'm German, 31 years old and have lived in the UK for 12 years. I work full time for an engineering consultancy in the centre and I have also just started to study part time again (Ecology). I have a busy life and would prefer to live with a mature student or professional who isn't after a busy party house!

I love climbing, snowboarding, surfing and being out in nature. I also like going for drinks and food, meeting with friends for drinks, but certainly don't bring the party home!
