An Ideal city centre location in Old Market. Five mins walk from Cabot Circus and twenty mins to the harbour, ten mins to Gloucester Road and fifteen mins to Temple Meads. Great links to transport and bike locker in the building should you need it.


I'm quite a quiet person although I go out and do lots of different activities. I love to write and I am currently doing a collection of short stories and also writing a sci-fi series as there were lots of ideas that seemed they would work in that genre. I used to write to make money but now its just a hobby and an outlet, not that I wouldn't try and make some money out of my creative work if the opportunity arose!

WIth a flatmate I feel it is important to have a comfortable relationship with a reciprocal share of shared housework. Have lived with many housemates that don't do their share and if you are that way inclined this will not be the place for you. I am an easy going person and not a clean freak, but don't like to let the place get too untidy (although pet bunny often has other ideas- she is house trained and does all her business in her litter tray and it doesn't smell, although she often trails grass out on the floor. I vacuum once a week).
I would want a fairly tidy person also to live with, at least in the shared living areas, although your personal bedroom and bathroom should be cleaned regularly to prevent build up of mess, this is now in the lodger agreement after too many times this not being done and leaving me with a horror show!
The bunny is my partners, but I am taking care of her so she is here the vast majority of the time. She is very sociable and loves to have her cheeks rubbed and her ears stroked also! She likes to get in everywhere so keep your door closed if you don't want her having a nap under your bed!

Happy to live with anyone but must be able to communicate issues in a friendly way and not in a hostile or domineering way. I am naturally non confrontational but won't put up with it as it makes me feel uncomfortable in my own home.

I am currently working as teaching assistant which I have just started, and loving it so far. I like to work in a fulfilling role. I have studied to become counsellor/psychotherapist and I am currently saving to finish my counselling course at the BCPC in 2020. You will mostly see me around the flat watching films and cooking which I also love, and playing playstation, otherwise I will be out pursuing another interest. I also love perfumes and have far too many. You will smell me often. Hopefully in a nice way.

Parking is available for 65 pounds per month, a bike locker key is £15 although might have gone up, but if we can get a copy of mine done somewhere I am happy to do that.

I have a washing machine and dryer but try not to use the dryer too much if not necessary as it uses a lot of energy. I also have air conditioning to keep the flat cool and air purifier as I am next to a road. I have broadband (around 16gb is what we actually receive), also Now TV with Sky Movies, Netflix and Prime TV. You are more than welcome to use these but be warned I am more of a film than a TV series type of person which could lead to nerf gun duels in the living room. If you wish to fit a TV in your room happy to help fit a mount to the wall so it doesn't have to take up space.

Room is ensuite with toilet/ shower room.

There is a bathroom as well which you are welcome to use, but that is my main bathroom and so would like us to have our own washrooms, but no problem if you want to use it to have a bath. I prefer baths so figured I may as well have that one.

Just to let you know my partner will be moving in next year no earlier I imagine than April, although we are not sure yet but I imagine April at the earliest and possibly later, so if you are looking for a longer stay somewhere this might not be the place for you.
