Double Room in Beautiful Victorian Terrace

Hey there!

We’re looking for a lovely, sociable lady to join us in this beautiful Victorian terrace house just off Gloucester Road.

The property comprises 3 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, downstairs loo/utility, dining room, lounge, kitchen, lovely south facing garden and restriction free on-road parking.

We’re just 2 mins walk from the lovely Inn on the Green pub (we are frequent visitors!), Horfield leisure centre and bus stops which take you straight into town or Aztec West almost every 5mins.

The house is furnished excluding the available bedroom. Our landlord is super lovely and it’s a private let so no agency or hidden fees.

A little about us:

Claire- I’m an environmental engineer. I’ve lived in Bristol for about 5 years and absolutely love this city. I’ve travelled around a lot and lived in Oz for 2 years, but Bristol is where my heart is 🥰 I love travelling, festivals, camping, scuba diving and lots more!

Lindsey - I'm a teacher and I moved back to Bristol in August so I'm enjoying being back in the city and exploring a new area. I love the outdoors and on weekends I love going out on walks and bike rides in the countryside. I'm also fond of a glass of wine (or three), heading out to a comedy night or gig (when we're allowed to do that kind of thing) and pottering about on my allotment on a weekend morning.

We have a little dog called Patsy, so you must like, if not love dogs. She’s a 8 year old rescue Jack Russell, she’s totally adorable (although perhaps we’re biased!). She is not your average Jack, she rarely barks and is incredibly laidback. She’s fully house trained, does not chew or scratch, LOVES cuddles and gets on well with other dogs.

We’d really like to share this lovely home with a likeminded, friendly and sociable lady who would be up for sharing bottles of wine in, Netflix binges, going to gigs, cheeky spot of raving, markets, festivals etc.

We’re both veggies so would love to share with a fellow veggie or at least a considerate meat eater. We are not at all preachy, after all Patsy is a meat eater and we still love her! 😉 (we did try her on a veggie diet once and she was totally unimpressed 🤣)

Its also really important that you’re clean and tidy as we love a clean, comfortable home. We'd also appreciate if you were considerate about noise during the week due to busy work schedules and very early starts (teacher life!). We’re both environmentally minded so we try to minimise waste and grow some of our own fruit and veggies.

The room is approx. £490 plus bills which are in the region of £100pp.
